My, how the years fly when you aren't doing any designing! Actually, that's not entirely true. In the past year, I've been busy doing wee bits of graphic design work at my church (my actual job) and filling in the spare time with college classes and freelance web design stuff.

That said, the current project right now is my own blog. I'm working to refresh the look there, and once I do, I'll be focusing my energies on writing there and here. I come across fun design-oriented stuff all the time, so while I might not actually be at a place in my life where I can build up a portfolio here, I can at least start giving feedback on what other people are doing and figuring out what exactly I want to do when I graduate and start doing this professionally.

So there you have it. Hope all of you lovely internet friends are doing well. :)

Welcome back, friends of Cookie Designs! I have been on an extended hiatus of sorts, but I am back and ready to start designing. First of all, I'll need to revamp the look of this site. Once that's done, I plan to ease back into things by whipping up some fabulous desktop wallpaper images and perhaps a few free blog headers and templates. By June 2009, I hope to have this place fully functional and ready to host my professional portfolio. At that point, I will begin accepting orders for all sorts of graphic design, ranging from business cards to logos and wordmarks to websites to whatever else strikes my fancy or yours.
